Susan C. Daffron

Susan Daffron is the president of Logical Expressions, Inc., a book and software publishing company in Sandpoint, Idaho. You can read more about her at her Website SusanDaffron.com.

Susan's her company Logical Expressions hosts an annual virtual event for self publishers, the Self-Publishers Online Conference (SPOC). Every May, attendees learn about book publishing from well-known expert speakers such as Dan Poynter and Mark Victor Hansen.

Susan also teaches classes for SelfPubU, an online training site specifically for self-publishers and other aspiring authors.

Susan is the President and Webmaster of the Small Publishers Artists and Writers Network (SPAWN), which is a non-profit organization that provides information, resources and opportunities for people involved in or interested in publishing. In the summer of 2009, Susan planned, designed, and engineered a major SPAWN Web site overhaul, ecommerce, and blog implementation. She also integrated the new tools SPAWN is using to communicate with and manage members.

Susan is the author of 12 books (ten of which were self-published). Susan has a unique perspective on the ever-changing print-on-demand and book publishing industries, with a background in writing, editing, graphic design, and Web site development. She has been involved in publishing since 1988.

Susan has been publishing newsletters for years. In addition to the two she produces now, she produced a popular weekly computing ezine called Logical Tips, a weekly ezine about the Sandpoint, Idaho area called the Sandpoint Insider, and a pet ezine called Pet Tails that appeared twice/month.

For two years, Susan also published a free (print) computer “how to” magazine called Computor Companion. The magazine evolved into a quarterly online publication and continues to receive rave reviews from computer users on the Web. Susan also has written articles for a newsletter site called Newsletter Help and a recipe site called Many Veggie Recipes.

Founder of the National Association of Pet Rescue Professionals

Along with her publishing work, Susan is also the President and Founder of the National Association of Pet Rescue Professionals (NAPRP) an association that offers tools and information to help people working in humane organizations save more lives. After adopting her pets, Susan became interested in pet care and humane issues. Her shelter experiences led her to form the NAPRP in 2008.
