President of Small Publishers Artists and Writers NetworkBecause of her unique background in both publishing and Web design, in 2009 Susan Daffron was named President of the Small Publishers Artists and Writers Network (SPAWN), which is a non-profit organization that provides information, resources and opportunities for people involved in or interested in publishing. In the summer of 2009, Susan planned, designed, and engineered a major SPAWN Web site overhaul, ecommerce, and blog implementation. She also integrated the new tools SPAWN is using to communicate with and manage members. Founder of the National Association of Pet Rescue ProfessionalsSusan is also the President and Founder of the National Association of Pet Rescue Professionals (NAPRP) an association that offers tools and information to help people working in humane organizations save more lives. Susan has been publishing newsletters for years. In addition to the two she produces now, she produced a popular weekly computing ezine called Logical Tips, a weekly ezine about the Sandpoint, Idaho area called the Sandpoint Insider, and a pet ezine called Pet Tails that appeared twice/month. For two years, Susan also published a free (print) computer “how to” magazine called Computor Companion. The magazine evolved into a quarterly online publication and continues to receive rave reviews from computer users on the Web. Susan also has written articles for a newsletter site called Newsletter Help and a recipe site called Many Veggie Recipes.
